Microsoft has stopped delivering updates and security patches for Windows 7 on January 14th 2020 however, you can, as part of Microsoft's Extended Security Update (ESU) program continue to receive *Critical and/or *Important updates for up to 3 years.

Windows Server 2019 is here with new features, including:

• Widows Server and Azure are more tightly integrated, which improves data mobility and helps you to leverage the cloud.
• Designed for Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI). This will enhance performance and make management easier.
• Improved security. Using Linux Shielded VMs will help prevent rogue admins or hackers accessing VMs and virtual hard disk files. Also, Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection is now included into Windows Server 2019.
